In League with the Future: Containing the Poison Fire
AN EXPERIENTIAL WORKSHOP WITH JOANNA MACY
BOISE, IDAHO
JANUARY 20 – 22, 2012
THE WORK THAT RECONNECTS builds fearlessness, solidarity and creativity in facing the challenges of our time. This experiential group work draws on systems theory, deep ecology and spiritual traditions and includes concepts of deep time and nuclear guardianship.
One of the aims of this work is to build the long term vigilance required to guard against unchecked nuclear contamination. Joanna is designing this workshop to inspire resistance to a proposed uranium enrichment plant near the Idaho National Lab and Idaho's constant struggle with nuclear waste.
