Submit Written Comments to the NRC on the Areva EIS by September 13th.

The Nuclear Regulatory will accept written comments on the draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Areva uranium enrichment factory, proposed in eastern Idaho until September 13th. This is a critical opportunity to tell the NRC NOT to license Areva. Please contact the Alliance via e-mail to receive talking points for your written testimony: lwoodruff@snakeriveralliance.org

Read the EIS.

Written comments on the EIS will be accepted until September 13. Comments should be mailed to the Chief, Rules and Directives Branch, Division of Administrative Services, Office of Administration, Mailstop TWB-05-B01M, Washington, DC 20555-0001, or e-mailed to EagleRock.EIS@nrc.gov. Put “NUREG-1945, draft” in the email subject line.
